Skin cancer surgery

New Zealand has one of the highest rates of skin cancers in the world due to environmental UV exposure and our outdoor lifestyle.

Skin cancers of various types can affect as many as 1 in every 100 people. Although most of the skin cancer types will require surgical treatment, some subtypes may be treated without surgery. Mr Yang was trained in New Zealand and is experienced in skin cancer diagnosis and surgery. Being seen by a Plastic Surgeon for skin cancer treatment, means you will experience comprehensive skin care, but also the best aesthetic outcome as plastic surgery as a specialty is dedicated to optimal appearance results.

Mr Yang believes in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment in a timely manner and his staff will make every attempt to organise an early appointment. See-and-treat appointment is available to suit individuals, but where possible Mr Yang believes in taking the appropriate consultation time first to examine the skin, making the diagnosis (sometimes requiring biopsies) and communicating the diagnosis and treatment options to each patient. Please contact Mr Yang for a skin cancer consult or a skin check.
