Patient safety and natural results are Dr Yang’s primary goals and he is committed to obtaining the best result with each and every procedure he performs, always with your optimal outcome in mind. He believes it is important for patients to be well informed about what to expect before, during, and after surgery and views follow-up visits as being as important as your initial consultation.

Mr Yang is a graduate of Otago University Medical School and Christchurch Medical School, and is New Zealand trained in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He operates with fully accredited anaesthetists to administer sedation or general anaesthesia at fully accredited surgery centres and hospital operating rooms to maximise your safety.

Mr Yang completed a cleft fellowship in Birmingham UK with further international training in Rhinoplasty (Europe) and Asian Cosmetic Surgery (South Korea). Since his return to Hamilton in 2017, he has embraced a role in improving Waikato’s regional cleft lip and palate service. Mr Yang is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Waikato Hospital, and a Clinical Lead for Midland Cleft Centre.
